The hospital is run by the New Delhi Holy Family Hospital Society and is managed under the guidance of the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese.

Founded in 1953 by the Medical Mission Sisters, Holy Family Hospital has a rich history of service. It operates as a charitable, non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The principles and values established by the founder, Mother (Dr.) Anna Dengel, continue to inspire and guide every aspect of our healthcare delivery.

• 1953: Holy Family Hospital was inaugurated by the Medical Mission Sisters, with its foundation stone laid by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, then Vice President of India, alongside Health Minister Rajkumari Amrit Kaur.
• 1990: The hospital's administration was transitioned to the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese, continuing its mission of compassionate care, community-centered healthcare under new leadership.

Today, Holy Family Hospital is governed by His Grace, Most Rev. Anil J.T. Couto, Archbishop of Delhi, who serves as Chairman of the Governing Body, alongside Rev. Fr. George P.A., Director, and Dr. Sumit Ray, Medical Director.

We are proud to be registered under the Delhi Nursing Home Act and accredited with ISO 9001:2000 and NABH certifications, underscoring our unwavering dedication to quality and safety in patient care.
